- Via Mobile App: Open the Smart Media app, go to Profile > Settings > Privacy > Request Data Deletion, and confirm your request
- Via Email: Send a data deletion request to [email protected] with your account email address and we will process your request within 30 days
Data Deletion Process
When you request data deletion, the following will occur:
- Your account will be marked for deletion and you will receive a confirmation email
- You will have 30 days to cancel the deletion request if you change your mind
- After 30 days, your personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems
- Some data may be retained for legal, compliance, or operational purposes as required by law
- Campaign data and analytics may be anonymized rather than deleted to maintain historical records
Data Deletion Exceptions
The following data may not be deleted and will be retained:
- Data required for legal compliance and regulatory obligations
- Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
- Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you
- Data retained in backup systems (which will be deleted after standard backup retention periods)
